HOW DOES ORDERING WORK?
The Railyard is home to several independently owned food and drink businesses, each with its own menu and ordering window. Take a stroll, check out the menus and order directly from whichever vendors catch your eye! Each business handles its own orders and payments, so feel free to mix and match your favorites. You'll receive a pager when you order. Once it goes off, simply return to that vendor's pickup window to grab your food. Then find a seat, relax and enjoy!
HOW DO I KNOW WHICH VENDORS ARE OPEN?
Our independently owned vendors generally operate during The Railyard's posted hours, so you can expect to find a great variety of food and drinks whenever you visit! Of course, behind each of these businesses are real people with families, vacations and the occasional unexpected circumstance. From time to time, an individual vendor may need to adjust their schedule. When we're aware of a change, we'll do our best to share an update on The Railyard's Facebook page. You can also follow your favorite vendors directly for their latest announcements, menu features and updates!
WHERE CAN WE PARK?
We've got parking covered! The Railyard has its own parking lot conveniently located off South 6th Street. Need a little extra space? Overflow parking is available at: 2160 S. 6th Street: Approximately one block from The Railyard. DHS Parking Lot: Located near the corner of 6th and Ash Streets, just a short walk away. Overflow parking is available on weekdays after 5 PM and throughout Saturdays. Please be mindful of posted parking restrictions and avoid parking in neighboring businesses' lots unless otherwise permitted.
IS THERE INDOOR SEATING?
Yes! The Railyard is primarily an outdoor venue, but we also have limited indoor seating available in our brick building. Whether you prefer a spot indoors or a table outside, you're welcome to settle in and enjoy!
WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT ARE ACCEPTED?
All of our vendors accept cash, debit cards, credit cards and Apple Pay, so you can pay whichever way works best for you! Prefer cash but forgot to stop at the bank? No worries! There's an ATM conveniently located inside our brick building.
IS THE RAILYARD FAMILY-FRIENDLY?
Absolutely! The Railyard is a place for the whole family to enjoy! With a variety of food options, outdoor seating, live entertainment and plenty of room to enjoy the atmosphere, there's something for all ages. We also have a children's play area that's continuing to grow! We're adding outdoor toys and activities as we go, giving our younger visitors a little space of their own to have fun. We simply ask that children remain supervised by a parent or guardian while enjoying the play area. Whether you're stopping by for a family meal or spending the afternoon together, kids are always welcome at The Railyard!
ARE PETS WELCOME?
Absolutely! We love our four-legged visitors! Well-behaved pets are welcome at The Railyard, and some of our vendors even have special treats available for them. We just ask that pets remain leashed and close to their owners so everyone can enjoy their visit.
CAN WE BRING OUTSIDE FOOD OR DRINKS?
The Railyard is all about supporting local! We ask that guests enjoy food and beverages purchased from our independently owned vendors rather than bringing outside meals, drinks or desserts, including birthday cakes. With no admission fee to enjoy The Railyard, purchases from our vendors help support these small businesses and make it possible to continue offering great food, entertainment and community events. Planning a celebration? Best Day Ever Bake Shop offers custom cakes and delicious sweet treats for your special occasions! Our food vendors also have kid-friendly options, so there's something for the little ones to enjoy, too. Personal water bottles and small snacks for young children are welcome. Please note: Outside alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited anywhere on The Railyard property for licensing, safety and liability reasons. We appreciate your understanding and support of the local businesses that make The Railyard what it is!
WHAT HAPPENS IF THERE'S BAD WEATHER?
Since The Railyard is primarily an outdoor venue, weather can occasionally affect our operating hours, live entertainment and scheduled events. We always hope to keep things running as planned, but the comfort and safety of our guests, vendors and entertainers come first. If weather requires a schedule change, delayed opening or closure, we'll share updates on our Facebook page as soon as possible. Event-specific changes will also be posted on our website's Events page.

ARE REGULAR MENUS AVAILABLE DURING SPECIAL EVENTS?
Absolutely! Our vendors typically offer their regular menus alongside any special event features, so you can still enjoy your favorites while trying something new! Occasionally, an event may feature a limited or modified menu. If that's the case, we'll share those details ahead of time on our Events page and Facebook page, so you'll know what to expect before you arrive.
CAN WE COME JUST TO ENJOY THE LIVE MUSIC?
Of course! We love bringing live music and entertainment to The Railyard, and everyone is welcome to enjoy it! One of the things that makes The Railyard special is that there's no admission fee. Our independently owned vendors help make that possible, so we encourage guests to support at least one of our food or drink businesses while they're here. Whether it's a full meal, a quick snack, a sweet treat or your favorite drink, every purchase makes a difference! Your support helps us keep the music playing and the admission free!
IS THERE A TIME LIMIT ON TABLES?
Nope! We want you to relax, enjoy your food and make the most of your time at The Railyard. We don't have a set time limit, but during busy periods, we kindly ask that guests who have finished eating make their tables available for others waiting to enjoy a meal. Just hanging out and enjoying the atmosphere? We also have seven pub-style standing tables that are perfect for gathering with friends, setting down your drinks and enjoying the entertainment. A little consideration goes a long way in helping everyone have a great experience!
IS SMOKING OR VAPING ALLOWED?
The Railyard is a smoke-free and vape-free venue. We want everyone to enjoy a comfortable atmosphere while visiting! If you need to smoke or vape, please step outside the venue to the parking lot and remain at least 15 feet away from entrances. Please be especially mindful of the entrances behind our food containers, as these are active food preparation areas. And one small favor! Please dispose of cigarette butts properly. Keeping The Railyard and its surrounding areas clean takes a little help from everyone, and we appreciate you doing your part!
CAN WE RESERVE TABLES FOR A GROUP GATHERING?
Absolutely! Celebrating a birthday, anniversary or getting everyone together? We'd be happy to help you plan a gathering at The Railyard! We offer table reservations for groups of 15–30 guests, with up to five picnic tables available. All reservations must be arranged in advance and confirmed by The Railyard. Please remember that The Railyard remains open to the public during regular operating hours, so reserving tables does not include exclusive use of the venue. We ask that your group arrive within 20 minutes of your scheduled reservation time. If you haven't arrived or contacted us within that time, your reserved tables may be released for other guests. CAN WE RESERVE INDOOR SEATING FOR A GATHERING?
Yes! We have limited indoor seating available inside our brick building, and we're happy to discuss reservations for small gatherings. Because indoor seating is very limited, all reservations must be arranged in advance and confirmed by The Railyard, based on availability. Please remember that the building remains open to the public during regular operating hours, including access to the bar and restrooms. We ask that your group arrive within 20 minutes of your scheduled reservation time. If you haven't arrived or contacted us within that time, your reserved tables may be released for other guests. Contact us to discuss your gathering, and we'll see what we can accommodate!
CAN WE HOST A PRIVATE EVENT AT THE RAILYARD?
We'd love to hear what you're planning! The Railyard is open to the public during our regular operating hours, but we're happy to discuss opportunities for private events and special gatherings. Because our independently owned vendors rely on their regular business hours, exclusive use of the venue requires additional planning and consideration. Private events that would require closing to the public must be able to support the businesses that would otherwise be operating. Depending on the event, special arrangements, minimum spending requirements and a written agreement may be necessary. Have something in mind? CAN WE ORDER FOOD FOR A GROUP OR SPECIAL OCCASION?
Absolutely! Planning a birthday celebration, family gathering or get-together with friends? Many of our vendors can accommodate larger orders with advance arrangements. Whether you're looking for a custom cake, a tray of your favorite food or treats to share, simply contact the individual vendor to discuss options, pricing and availability. Each business handles its own orders, so coordinating directly with them is the best way to make your gathering a success!
DO YOU OFFER GIFT CARDS?
Looking for a gift for someone who loves great food and drinks? Several of our vendors may offer gift cards! Because each business at The Railyard is independently owned and operated, gift cards are handled directly by the individual vendors. We don't currently offer a Railyard-wide gift card that can be used at multiple businesses. We recommend reaching out to your favorite vendor to ask about their gift card options!
ARE THERE EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES AT THE RAILYARD?
Each food and drink business at The Railyard is independently owned and operated, so hiring is handled directly by each vendor. If you're interested in joining one of their teams, we encourage you to reach out to that business individually. The Railyard itself is not currently hiring, but if an opportunity becomes available, we'll share the details on our Facebook page!
DOES THE RAILYARD ACCEPT DONATION OR COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP REQUESTS?
We love seeing our community come together and are always happy to hear about opportunities to make a positive impact! Donation requests for food, beverages, gift certificates or other goods should be directed to the individual vendors, as each business independently handles its own charitable contributions. Looking for a place to host a community event, fundraiser or gathering? We're happy to consider opportunities to support local organizations through the use of our venue or by hosting community-focused events.
